The Cambrian
A Paddington story
A place once renowned for its outlandish fashion, daring creativity and endearing village culture. Yet, in recent times, those glory days have lost their glow. Fashion trailblazer Robby Ingham, a name synonymous with Oxford Street, knew it was time to bring back the lustre. The Cambrian is his best bet to do just that. A row of reborn artisan shopfronts. Fifteen bespoke residences. And daily comings and goings around a lush neighbourhood courtyard. The apartments sold out in five hours. This is the story of a place that’s only just beginning.
Rewriting the script for a celebrated neighbourhood
Robby made a now familiar call to Frost* to help realise the vision. For Robby, and for us, this was about much more than selling apartments. We were struck by the romanticism of it all. It felt like something from a storybook, a setting for an intriguing tale. We wanted to write Paddington’s new chapter. With that, we set about using techniques from fiction to tell a story of life in this famous little pocket of Sydney. A charming campaign inviting us to imagine Paddington both as it was and how it could be. Making every touch point—from empty shop windows to print, digital and physical sales suite—feel like you’re turning a new page.

“The place has lost much of its charm. It’s time to shift the dial.”
