We're thrilled to be one of eight leading Australian creative agencies featured in The Rigg Design Prize 2022. This is the first major exhibition of advertising and communication design in the NGV’s history.

For the exhibition, the NGV challenged all eight finalists to create a campaign that articulates the potential of creativity to accelerate positive social, cultural, economic or environmental change. The eight exhibited campaigns represent a call to action for Australia to realise it’s ‘creative potential’.

‘Any Ideas?’ is part of this exhibition and on display from 7 October 2022 to 29 January 2023 at The Ian Potter Centre: NGV at Fed Square, Melbourne Australia.

‘Any Ideas?’ aims to democratise ideas and connect them with organisations who are working to solve some of the biggest challenges our world faces today. It’s about unlocking the creative potential inside us all, and using that creativity to contribute to a better world for all people and our planet.

Vince Frost, says, “It’s about participation and giving back. As we say, no idea is a bad idea, and to be able to put them to real use would be wonderful.”

We hope the campaign will demonstrate Australia’s true creative potential – and highlight its value in all spheres of life. It has the potential to become a national conversation – one that ultimately connects organisations doing good work with voices from the wider community. It aims to challenge, provoke and champion the creative potential inside all of us.

The execution of the campaign includes a website and Instagram profile which pose provocations all Australian’s are invited to respond to. These creative ideas may solve some of the biggest problems we face as a society today. Just some of the topics covered include the climate crisis, mental health and indigenous reconciliation. Responses from the public are then collated and edited into a projection which features in the exhibition. At the end of the public exhibition, these responses will be shared with our friends and partners at a range of businesses working to achieve a better world, including; Greenpeace, WWF, ACON, OzHarvest and B Lab Australia & New Zealand.

We’re excited to be engaging with the NGV over the next four months as the exhibition continues. Our aim is to keep the conversation around the power of creativity going and encourage everyone to visit to The Ian Potter Centre and see it for yourself and participate.
